HEARD MUSEUM
February 13, 2010

The overall beauty of the grounds and gardens of the Herad Museum is a wonderful introduction to the the beauty of the art pieces that await inside the museum. The art, jewelry, baskets, pottery and textiles of the Southwest Indians are absolutely beautiful and wonderfully displayed. It is impossible not to come away with a feeling of awe and appreciation after visiting the Heard.

planning and executing the Indian Fair and Market which occurs every March on the heard Museum grounds. a wonderful, interesting 2 day experience the firstt weekend of every March

MY ROLE:
Volunteer & I became a docent and give guided tours of the Heard Museum. My favorite tours involve children for they represent the future audience s of museum. I find it very easy to engage children in a n appreciation of Southwest Indian art & culture.
