THE HEIDELBERG PROJECT
February 11, 2010

The hair industry in Detroit is very active and creative, so we thought the Heidelberg Project was a great way for us to take off a Saturday of working in the salons to share some of the creative hair artistry to the street festival. The Heidelberg Project supplied us with everything we needed and was very professional in presenting their event. We would love to work with them again.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way they executed the events for the Heidelberg Project. There were several activities planned and the schedule went like clock-work. The pre-production meetings were helpful and they were prepared for every small detail.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Have a bigger facility to work with. They need more space to serve the community.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The staff - they were a pleasure to work with. Everyone worked as a team and had a good time interacting with each other.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

from all types of cultures and backgrounds - and they all seemed to love art and the art culture.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the world.

Ways to make it better...

The weather was a little cooler (it was in the 90's). That, of course, was out of the Heidelberg Project's control. I believe the city of Detroit could have gotten more involved, by providing electrical power, water and other items for the participants.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the available budgets to operate. They make the best of what they receive, but they could have a bigger impact on Detroit.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I really hope that enough people see and believe in their vision.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
