Review for GIRLS IN THE GAME NFP, Chicago, IL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have worked with this organization on many different kinds of events. The executive director and her team are amazing, they give 100% to the girls. They are able to express the importance of their mission and engage amazing women to support it. I have worked with their board who gives of their time, treasure and talent and I have worked with the girls who are bright, happy, excited and engaged. They learn about and come to understand the importance of physical health, emotial health, good food and also the importance of the choices they make. They are exposed to a variety of leadership opportunities that empower them to choose for themselves the kind of leaders they want to become. Through mentors they see possibilities for themselves that they may not have imagined. This organization is one of my favorites as they get it, they beleive in their mission and are tireless in finding new and better ways to empower girls. I am proud to be associcated with them.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Interacting with the girls and staff.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Smart, engaging, dedicated and fun!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make sure all girls felt empowered to achieve their dreams.

Review for Woman Made, Chicago, IL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been involved with Woman Made for almost 10 years as a visitor, vendor, donor and friend. They are a tremendous resource for womens art in Chicago. Their range is wide and they emmbrace many sorts of art and artists. Their events, open houses and galas are warm and welcoming and have opened my eyes to new artists and artisans. They are professionaly managed and I ahve seen great longevity in the volunteers and board members which speaks volumes to the executive director and the high level of operations and collaboration amongst the volunteers and staff. People stay invoved because it is a wonderful organization to be part of.
