FOUNDATION FOR PHOTO ART IN HOSPITALS INC
February 5, 2010
I have known Elaine Poggi personally for many years. I have seen and worked with her as she shared her talents and dedicated herself, wholeheartedly and unselfishly, to the children's ministry, music ministry and adult education in our church. By creating the Foundation for Hospital Art, she continues to extend her artistic abilities and charismatic personality - through untiring, world-wide travels and contacts - to bring beauty, joy and tranquillity to those who are suffering,
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing my own daughter donate her photography which is now displayed in a hospital rebuilt in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, a children's hospital in Ruanda and one in Zambia, East Africa.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the universality of its outreach - from large, cancer centers in the United States to mission hospitals in Africa.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About once a year
