This organization, organized originally in the 1970's (I believe), has grown into an efficient non-profit. This is my favorite group to work with because it DIRECTLY helps children and families that have no where else to go. The response is quick and they are there 24/7. They have helped many from falling through the cracks. I personally have experience with three teenagers that were able to take charge of their lives and are much happier. They have monthly, realistic goals and have high percentage of obtaining those goals. I have been a volunteer for over 15 years, and this is the organization I am most passionate about.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the lives of 3 teenagers and their families.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Do exactly what they are doing. They are wonderful!

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing a former mentee out on a football field smiling and happy. Saying things are better and easier than she ever thought they could be.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extremely friendly and sincere. Good-hearted, compassionate people.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

achieve everything it ever dreamed.

Ways to make it better...

There was more grant money available.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

grant money.

One thing I'd also say is that...

it's a cliche, I know, but our children are the future.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
