Churches Active in Northside
December 18, 2009
I have served on CAINs Board and Fundraising Committee for two years as a Community Member. We have served so many "guests" that the impact is immeasurable. Especially this year, with the current economy, it is so essential to be able to provide nutrition, household essentials and especially an ear to listen and shoulder to lean on. There have been numerous examples of our "guests" getting back on their feet and returning to volunteer for CAIN to provide the same service and outreach that was provided to them. CAIN is truly a blessin to many.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
truly empathic. They give so much more than is necessary. Our clients are treated as our guests and they feel the difference.
