The National Center on Family Homelessness
December 15, 2009

I collaborated with NCFH on their March launch of their America's Youngest Outcasts. The document and their leadership got more than 1,000 news articles reported on the nation's homeless chldren and youth. I now serve on one of their committees and rely upon them for excellent information.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping gaining national exposure on NCHF's publication, and helped statewide policy makers improve their understanding of the needs of homeless children and youth.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

get them additional funding to expand their research capacity, including getting them to research Pennsylvania's homeless families in ways that would help providers improve their services.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

my improvement in understanding homeless children and youth.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

professional, exact, intelligent.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

improve how each state in the union serves more than one million homeless children and youth.

Ways to make it better...

The entire US Senate learned about America's Youngest Outcasts.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

attempting to gain national consensus on issues supporting homeless children and youth.

One thing I'd also say is that...

there is not a better organization that researches and understands homeless families and children.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
