My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Water for People, Denver, CO, USA
Last spring I was fortunate to visit Uganda. While there, I had the opportunity to visit some of the rural communities where Water For People is working with local groups to provide safe water and sanitation. It was truly moving to see the respectful manner with which Water For People staff worked with the local community members. But even more moving was seeing the impact that clean water and sanitation had on the lives of people in the community. It really does change lives.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I've learned a tremendous amount about the impact of safe water and sanitation -- safe water and sanitation is the foundation for good health, better education, and more jobs.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
fabulous, dedicated, smart, respectful and creative.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
save lives! Over 6000 people a day die from lack of safe water and sanitation...Water For People is helping to develop sustainable water solutions in developing countries all over the world.
