My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Shenandoah Valley Choral Society, Harrisonburg, VA, USA
I am not a professional. We have about 110 singers most of the time and perform
for the public three different seasons of the year. We are strongly challenged by
both our pieces and our director, Curtis Nolley. I want to tell you how important this
music is to me. We sing a lot of classical pieces. I wear hearing aides. I use an
oxygen tank and sit to sing soprano. We practice two hours a week. We have
young and old alike, but like all non-profits we are challenged financially. This
Society has given me a real purpose. I come alive when I sing. If there is
any foundation or fellow or friend who would help write P.O. Box 454,
Music is more than just notes--it like a piece of God shining on our stage
to our audiences be they7 or 70! Jeanne Rabe Tysinger
