My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Food & Water Watch, Washington, DC, USA
I have volunteered with Food and Water Watch for the past several years. I have gained tremendous knowledge and skills and most importantly have had the opportunity to come in contact with and learn from many outstanding people. Food and Water Watch cares about many of the issues that I care about (i.e. factory farming, hydrofracking, protecting water rights and many others). More importantly, Food and Water Watch is proactive and works continuously and tirelessly to protect people and our precious environment.
The materials, the opportunities, and the experiences they offer are first rate. This in an organization that I am absolutely proud to be associated with. Tia Lebherz has been an incredible mentor and I am fortunate to call her a friend. As a volunteer and as an intern I was treated with the utmost respect. Keep on keeping on Food and Water Watch!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I can honestly think of nothing at this point that stands out and needs to be changed. That being said, I am certain that Food and Water Watch will continue to do the right thing and protect people and the planet.
