My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Council of Jewish Emigre Community Organizations, New York, NY, USA
I liked very much to meet interesting people, to discuss current problems with a group, to have an opportunity to make new contacts. About myself: I worked as a coordinator, social worker in Jewish organizations, FEGS, after graduation Adelphi University I work at the office of congressman Nadler. (Posted by GreatNonprofits staff member from a paper review.)
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Attention and care to elderly people, laborious everyday work with disabled people, especially with people in wheelchairs.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
opened, benevolent, patient, always read to assist. The word NO doesn't exist for COJECO coordinator Rimma Kharlamov. She can find an answer and be a winner in any desperate situation.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About once a year
