My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Virginia Gildersleeve International Fund, New York, NY, USA
The Virginia Gildersleeve International Fund was created by women from all over the world to support women and girls through both economic development, social justice and education grants. Coming up on 45 years of giving, the work of the foundation has been lead by volunteers for the majority of that time. I have had the opportunity to be one of those volunteers who has chaired the grants committee and am now the convener of the development committee. I first became involved because someone asked me personally nearly 30 years ago.
We wish every donor could be directly involved as it is reading the grant applications or visiting the sites that touches one heart.
We have always been about making a difference for women and girls.
