My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Moving Traditions, Jenkintown, PA, USA
I love Rosh Hodesh: It's a Girl Thing, but I think I like it mainly because I can interact and get to know my girl friends that i don't get to see most days. Also, we get to understand the world around us and our personal lives a little better. I do feel that the activities that we do are a little childish or not necessary or just uncomfortably awkward. This group is not supposed to be awkward, but to be fun and enjoyable.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the time spent laughing and loving with friends
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very kind and caring and wanting to have fun and make your time as meaningful as possible
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
really contribute to the world around it. There are plenty of charities you could give the money to, but there are only a number of groups that will take the money to make other people aware of the cause (and sometimes causES)
Ways to make it better...
the activities were more localy involved and not so quier
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
when people (whether this is the girls int he group, the group leader, or the organizer) can't orderly make decisions and the group doesn't meet or make progress
One thing I'd also say is that...
people really need to get groups together all over the world for all ages and really keep this wonderful family growing
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every month
