I have been engaged with Jconnect off and on for six years now. I have seen the program go through many changes involving both personnel and structure. With that being said, the constant is that I am always welcomed back with open arms. I have taken part in everything including Jewish learning classes, AJWS trips, Birthright trips, Passover/Tu B'shevat sedars...
For a year and a half I ran a Moishe House and worked closely with Jconnect in a more formal business type relationship and with that help was able to accomplish a lot from a grassroots perspective.
I don't want to gush anymore about Jconnect but it was the first place I found Jewish community in my adult life. I had been lacking that connection since 10th grade confirmation. At this point, many of those that surround me are Jewish and I feel entrenched in this community
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
awesome! I have enjoyed the staff so much that I have become roommates with two of them at different points over the last six years.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
