E O AUSTIN HOME-HISTORICAL SOCIETY
August 1, 2014

The Museum collects historical items for the small communities of Austin, Odin, Costello, Wharton, and Keating Summit, Pennsylvania. It is located in rural, southern Potter County, Pennsylvania. There is no charge to tour the museum. One of the programs it offers free of charge is a summer, classical movie program for children (adults are welcome to attend also). Free refreshments are also provided. Each year the museum undertakes a community beautification project and also awards a $300 dollar scholarship from the money received from its major fundraiser dinner auction.

AUSTIN DAM MEMORIAL ASSOCIATION INC
August 20, 2013

I serve as the Vice President of the E.O. Austin Home/Historical Society which works closely with the Austin Dam Memorial Association. The ADMA consists of a small group of volunteers who are striving to preserve the dam ruins of the 1911 flood and the papermill which served as the community's major employer in the early 1900s.
