My Nonprofit Reviews
Chapel AZA 245 1981-1986
Review for BBYO, Washington, DC, USA
BBYO brought me to the friends I still have now, 27 years later. I remain best friends with my first AZA friend even today. Now, I see not only my kid and my friend's kids, but I see the children born of "my kids" when I was an advisor, as they too have now grown up. And many stay in touch with each other, not to mention me. From my awkward teen years, to Israel for the first time, to being an advisor, I would need dozens of pages to recite the best years of my life.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
nearly thirty years of involvement, from member, to officer, to volunteer staff to board member.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Everything. It developed my life into what I am and what my family and friends are today
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Devoted, dedicated, selfless and awesome.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Bring Jewish youth together across the globe, even more so than it already does now
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
