My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Saratoga Academy of the Arts and Sciences, Clifton Park, NY, USA
Terrible place...if you're looking for a school for your young children, i would strongly encourage looking elsewhere. I suspect some first year parents, if they got the right teacher, are incredibly happy. We were one of them. What we didn't realize was our first year's wonderful experience was in spite of the terrible folks that run the school but rather the result of having a great teacher that first year. I can tell you our second year was less than stellar. As you meet other parents you'll hear nothing but complaints. It breaks my heart to to see Parents struggle. They'll request to switch classes for their child, some have just pulled there children out of school all together because of the poor experience. It's a terrible terrible feeling. And to add insult to injury...the all the great teachers leave or get fired.
Parents beware. Don't make the mistake we made...if you are in need of PreK and/or Kindergarten spend the time to do your research and look for the school that best for you and your child. Invest in a school where you know your tuition dollars will go back to your child and not to building Middle school or basic supplies for your children. I've heard nothing but great things about Brown school. I've also heard wonderful things about St. Gregory's. There are several Montessori around which have also gotten good reviews. Bottom line, take the time to look.
I hope other parents find this review helpful
