As a veterinarian, I have had the privilege to work with Harley's Hope in many ways including public education and services, consulting, and private owner services. The organization provides public education and outreach in animal health through lectures, clinics and seminars. Through steadfast commitment to responsible pet ownership, Harley's Hope and its leadership has provided resources for life saving procedures and preventive medical care which allows animals to stay in their caring homes. Without organizations like HH, owners who have provided good care for their pets, but have fallen on difficult times, would potentially have to decide on euthanasia or relinquishment of their animals due to financial constraints. Harley's Hope strengthens the human-animal bond in our community and the director, Cynthia Bullock, works tirelessly to find resources to be able to continue to provide assistance to the hundreds of applicants each year.
