I have adopted 4 coonhound's. I donate both time and money to help this group save as many coonhounds as possible. This is an amazing group of volunteers that do an incredible job of pulling coonhounds and bloodhounds from kill shelters from across the country. Most have been dumped by hunters. All dogs are vetted and spayed/nuetered before adoption. They offer great support in helping fosters and adopters with any issues that may come thier way. And network extensively to help educate people on what a wonderful companion, loyal family dog and best friend coonhounds are. Visit thier website www.coonhoundrescue.com to see all of the wonderful coonhound and bloodhounds that are avaiable for adoption. They have a Facebook page, American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue that has thousands of group members who help support each other for thier love of this breed. All fosters and adopters must complete an application and are "vetted".
