As a legal intern/volunteer, I have experienced firsthand the positive contribution that the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty continues to make in the lives of those in need. The staff members are warm and friendly to every individual who seeks our help. Through a number of ongoing projects, Met Council works tirelessly to maintain and strengthen our relationships with other organizations and service providers, such as local JCCs. Because of Met Council's significant size, it is able to provide critical support to so many people each year. The tireless work of the Met Council in eradicating poverty is a blessing to all those in need.
