My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for High Fives Non-Profit Foundation, Truckee, CA, USA
After graduating college, I relocated from the Bay Area of California to the mountains of Lake Tahoe. I knew that in order to land a great job down the road I needed to look into securing an internship. As fate would have it, my former coach at Sugar Bowl (Roy Tuscany) had just formed the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation in Truckee, CA. I interviewed and landed the internship. In the years to come I learned valuable skill sets and gained an appreciation for hard work. The effort and dedication needed for such a small staff (at High Fives) to be a successful charity is remarkable. I thank them for teaching me the power of positivity and how to set a goal and work towards it, no matter what gets in your way. High Five to this amazing organization.
