I have visited the Mayan Families organization in Guatelama for the past 3 years and will be returning again this fall. While there I have observed how this worthy organization is run. The in-house staff is well versed with not only the needs of the families they serve but the needs of the entire area. I have also traveled to many of the local schools that they have started and seen first hand the work that has been done with these young children that would otherwise not even receive basic skills. It is truly a heartwarming experience to not only visit, but be a part of this fine group of people who care for the less fortunate of Guatemala.
