My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty, New York, NY, USA
My wife has worked at Met Council for a number of years now. During that time, she has recounted many stories about programs, services and clients helped. Each story compelling and amazing highlighting the vast portfolio of programs and services and the many miracles that the organization performs on a daily basis. Putting food on the tables of those that are hungry, creating housing for vulnerable populations, saving families from eviction, utility turn-offs and more. On many occasions, I had the opportunity to meet various Met Council staff and am truly impressed by their dedication, professionalism and caring nature. Met Council is a remarkable organization in a class all by itself.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide more innovative programs and services to New Yorkers in need with only a small percentage going to administrative overhead.
