Review for Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, Inc., Tavernier, FL, USA

Rating: 4 stars

This wild bird hospital and sanctuary made it through a challenging transition after the death of the "Bird Lady". The community leaders really stepped up and so did the locals. Worthy!

Review for KEY WEST MARITIME HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF THE FLORIDA KEYS INC , Key West, FL, USA

Rating: 3 stars

The need/cause is self evident. The organization is small but offers great lectures on Florida maritime history and relevant interests. The potential for greatness exists.

Review for SUNCOAST SEABIRD SANCTUARY INC, Indian Shores, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

It is a shame that people like rlv3rd (who I suspect is Robin Vergera worked at the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary until October 2012 when he left to form his own non-profit Bird Rescue) feel that this type of negative attack improves his station at the expense of an organization like the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary who has been working to rescue, repair, rehabilitate and release the wild birds of Florida since 1971. There may be problems but last time I checked this organization was still caring for permanently injured birds and doing there best to mitigate a bad economy and remain solvent.

There is plenty of work to be done to help wild birds. Perhaps rlv3rd should move forward with his organization and not try to damage the largest and most prolific wild bird hospital in the nation.
