I'm thrilled that someone posted the address for Humanewatch.com as a reason to dislike HSUS because now I've decided to donate to HSUS! Humanewatch.com is a fake "watchdog" site run by Center for Consumer Freedom, which is a lobbying group run by Richard Berman, a lobbyist for the fast-food, meat, alcohol and tobacco industries. Anyone that CCF hates must be doing something right, especially since they've developed an entire fake website devoted to bashing them!

Also, the HSUS mission is NOT to run shelters. It is to improve the lives of all animals across the board. It's apples and oranges, folks. Donate to the HSUS for a broad reach, and your local shelters for a neighborhood mitzvah.
