As President of Meals on Wheels for Pets Nassau, Inc., I have had the honor to meet our clients in their homes and see first hand their interactions with their companion animals. All of our clients either receive Meals on Wheels themselves or are on the waiting list for home delivered meals. Our mission of providing the pet food and veterinary care for these animals relieves our clients of a great financial and emotional burden. Many clients have no person in their lives with whom they interact daily, as they do with their pets. These animals provide emotional, physical and mental stimulation and often are the only companions the clients have. Keeping companion animals well fed and healthy is the mission of Meals on Wheels for Pets Nassau. We have no paid employees and operate with a group of dedicated volunteers who meet each week to repackage the donated food in preparation for delivery to the clients. We are good stewards of our donated funds and would be honored to receive your support.

Not only am I a supporter of Cats Angels but as President of Meals on Wheels for Pets Nassau, Inc., I have had dozens of interactions with the organization. They have assisted us with spay/neuter surgeries for dozens of our clients' cats. Without their tireless efforts on behalf of the cats in Nassau County and Fernandina Beach, there would be hundreds if not thousands of cats living and dying on the streets in our communities. Their mission is simple but critical: to relieve the suffering and reduce the population of cats in the county of Nassau, FL through spay/neuter surgeries and to establish and support TNR communities of unwanted street cats.
