I lost my dog of 20 years and was very hesitant to get another the pain was just to much ...my husband kept after me to visit little shelter and finally I did and we met Logan - Logan was taken but for some reason it did not work out and one night I came home from work and nobody was home and than about a 1/2 hour later Logan ran in the house with my husband behind him. And my heart was taken...but we know Logan came to us for a reason - shortly thereafter my husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer...I beleive Logan was brought to us for his unconditional love and comfort that he gave both me and my husband through the ordeal..my husband would get his treatments and have to lay in the bed for 2 hours and rotate his body of course Logan and I would join him to keep him comapny during the 2 hours needless to say Logan would gently push me off the bed and lay over my husband and look at me with his beautiful gentle eyes all 57 lbs of him and let me know it was their time together...I cannot tell you how comforting Logan was to my husbnd during these days..he is in remission and their is a very special bond bewtween him and Logan..Logn is a very special part of our family it has been over 10 years now tha he is with us and every day I love him more and more...I thought I could never love another as I did my other dog but Logan is very special to us and we love him dearly as he does us!
