Review for Wounded Warrior Project, Jacksonville, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I recently separated from my 7.5 Year job working with the Texas Dept of State Health Services in Houston Texas on June 1st of 2014. I contacted Jay "Rudy" Rudolph at Wounded Warrior Project. He has been in contact with me for over a year always making sure that I was doing well and if I needed anything, that he was here to help me. Well I was needing help finding a job that was in my area of passion and that would help me grow as an individual in the work field. Rudy helped me so much. He helped me with my resume, with my grammer, with my approach to looking passed my own experiences and believing in myself more than I had been. He shot my resume out to several companies and recruiters and by the Grace of God I was picked up by an IT company to interview. Upon interviewing, the following day I was offered the position. I thank Rudy and WWP for helping me in every aspect. I am thankful that Rudy never stopped contacting me and checking up on me. God bless WWP and its staff.

Review for Helping A Hero Org, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Helping a hero has been a family of individuals that are more than just Big-Hearted, they are my extended family. From the time that I met Meredith and her family, they have been a blessing ever since. Helping a hero has helped my family and I in our time of need and has also been a blessing when we have not been in need. Helping a hero has given me an opportunity to push myself harder and to make a better life for my family. Everyone that I have met through Helping a Hero have been amazing. They are caring, loving, and most important...involved. They have been given me a better insight for living and living within my means as I battle my disabilities. Helping a Hero has been such a blessing, I thank each and everyone in the organization for being kind and loving towards my family and myself. I thank God for bringing Helping a Hero into our lives. Helping A hero was the first organization that helped me when I left the military (2004). They have been with us every step of the way. They are part of my family.

Review for OnBehalf.org, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am a U.S. Army Veteran ( Purple Heart Recipient ) that served in OIF in Iraq in 2004. I was seriously injured in combat on July 2, 2004 and suffered 3rd degree burns and injuries to my head.
I have had my ups and downs financially due to all my VA appointments, having to miss a great deal of work and its caused some financial hardships. Well, I contacted OnBehalf.org and told them that I was in a bind and if there was any information or anything that they could do for me in order to get some assistance. I received an email back from OnBehalf.org a couple of days later telling me that they service Veterans in the East Coast, but that they don't like to turn their backs on any Vet, especially a single father of 2 kids living in Texas and that they would see what they could do for us. I am happy to say that they blessed me with more than what I could have imagined a couple of days later. OnBehalf.org was and is an organization that I can genuinely say that cares for those that have served and continue to serve. They took care of my kids and I when I didn't know where else to turn. Thank God for OnBehalf.org. Thank you guys for what you do for Veterans like myself and our families.

Review for Operation Homefront, Inc, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Operation Homefront was able to take care of the needs of my 2 children and I. I am a single father with 2 kids that was in need of a blessing to get through the last couple of months. I am not a prideful man and I was blessed to have Operation Homefront and Mrs. Nancy Scull go far and beyond what I knew of an organization to do. They completely took care of the needs and were able to provide the help that I needed in order to make sure that my children were taken care of. From the first email to the last phone call, Operation Homefront did exactly what they said they would and Mrs. Nancy Scull was truly an Angel because she made sure to let me know all that was going on. Thank you so much to Operation Homefront for taking care of my children and I in this great time of need. God bless Operation Homefront and all those that serve within the Organization that make these blessings possible. Thank you Jesus for their hearts and for the donors that help in giving.
