The " Golden Years" have been misnamed as we senior citizens face increasing health problems, financial worries and far too often severe loneliness; forced to face the challenges and consequences of our declining years alone. Into this bleak and dismal picture there is some light brought by Met Council on Jewish Poverty. Here we have the loving, caring attention of devoted workers who tend to our every day needs, befriend us and guide us with their understanding and genuine affection. The Metropolitan Council On Jewish Poverty puts a little bit of gold back into the remaining years of our lives. Thank you Met council and may you always continue your generous and innovative programs which make the "Ungolden Years" shine a little brighter.
