I've worked with Pusong Pinoy for a couple of years. Promote literacy- eradicate poverty. These were the words that struck a chord when I first looked at the Pusong Pinoy blog. I used to teach English here in Scotland- my interest was kindled. Looking at the PP blog is the best thing I ever did. The enthusiasm persuaded me that I could make a difference- helping children to have a better life. So, I became more involved. This was my first venture into volunteering. I’m glad I chose Pusong Pinoy. Since then, I’ve supported the work of Pusong Pinoy in any way that I can, with a team of fellow volunteers in Scotland. Furthermore, I’ve made and met many new friends worldwide. Pusong Pinoy believes passionately in its cause- wonderful people giving selflessly to benefit others. Integrity and friendship are foundations for this work. How do I know? Well, I’ve met them.
