My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Pusong Pinoy (Heart of a Filipino), Chino Hills, CA, USA
If you have gently used storybooks from preschool to 4th grade level that you have no use for, please consider donating it to this organization. I have been a volunteer since this organization started in May 2009. I can assure you that your books make a big difference in the lives of marginalized students here in the Philippines. We deliver the books to remote public schools, non governmental organizations or groups that promote reading in remote areas here in our country.
Pusong Pinoy do not just donate storybooks, we require public schools to create a reading program. They have to send us updates every few months. So far, we've touched the lives of over 15,000 disadvantaged children through the help of heroes in the US, Europe, Australia and other countries.
