My son was born premature. He had to spend two weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I wanted to spend every possible minute with my newborn baby. The Ronald McDonald House allowed me to do just that. It is directly across the street from the hospital. I was able to walk back and forth at any time of the day or night to see my baby. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very nice. I appreciated the meals that were available at the house. I could not afford to stay in a hotel for that much time. I truly appreciate the help I was offered. My baby just turned 5 years old this month. I am still grateful and I have not forgotten my experience at the Ronald McDonald House.
