My visit to Nyumbani programs in June 2006 changed my life forever. I was taught life lessons by the youngest and oldest Kenyans I met and everyone in between. The Kenyans led by example, through their faith, professionalism, dedication, and determination. I am a better person, more focused and purposeful, having visited Nyumbani. From the joy exuding from Mass, to the laughter of the children, and the singing of the grandparents, my stay was filled with moment after moment of inspiration. What encourages me most is Nyumbani's vision for sustainability of its programs and reintegration of most of the people under their care, back to the communities whence they came. Nyumbani is preparing the children for a future of living possitively and of being self-sufficient adults. Donations to Nyumbani go right toward helping any individual of need. I have made life long friends with many of the Nyumbani family and have dedicated myself to helping anyway I can. Please go to the web site www.nyumbani.org and learn more about this amazing nonprofit that is changing the lives of over 4,000 people infected and/or affected by AIDS. Join the Nyumbani family. You, too, can make a difference!
