I must agree with cynsan's review!! buildOn is an amazing organization that offers students more than a volunteer experience every weekend. It gives students an opportunity to do amazing work with others that makes the volunteers feel good. The Trek for Knowledge experience is life changing. Even at 40 years old when I experienced my Trek to Mali with my amazing students from The Bronx Center for Science & Mathematics I felt it was the most amazing experience I ever had. The students walked away with a sense of accomplishment and the satisfaction that their school will make a difference in the great village of Bla. I encourage you to donate to this incredible organization that changes lives on a global level.
