I volunteer with a Job Networking Ministry that helps job seekers by providing hope, encouragement, support and practical resources needed in a job search. A few job seekers who come to us are so desperate, often having been unemployed for some time, that they actually need clinical intervention before they can undertake the rigors of the job search. When this need arises, we seek the assistance of Catholic Charities of the East Bay to provide counseling. Such a service is a lifeline not only to the job seeker but also to the facilitators whose mission it is to assist everyone who comes for help. We are most grateful to Catholic Charities of the East Bay for willingly accepting our referrals. In doing so, they are changing the lives of those most in need.
