NCYLS taught me the meaning of passion and positive growth. Having had the opportunity to attend as a sophomore in 2012, I can say that this seminar really put me into perspective to stop and think about what it is that motivates me, and what I can do to strive for more. Throughout this incredible weekend, I saw many sophomores from all over Northern California transform from shy, fearful individuals to enthusiastic, confident, and compassionate leaders. I was not only surrounded by positive energy all weekend long, but I was also greatly encouraged to believe in myself. I cannot wait to continue my involvement with NCYLS, and I truly believe that this seminar will give anyone who attends the inspiration to make an impact on the world.
