Art of Recycle
June 21, 2013

The crew over at Art of Recycle are fantastic. They have so much to offer and their craft area is unbeatable. Chelas and Mr. Special are wonderfully helpful with all their workshops, and helping out with any projects you need.

And with so many donations coming in weekly, you never know what will be there for you to use on your craft projects.

I absolutely love going up there, and everytime I go it gives me hope that there are so many more people out there with such good hearts than I ever imagined.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make it closer so I could get there more often and volunteer for them more.

I have been involved with the organization since 2001 after the rest of my family got involved in various capacities from being a Jr Volunteer to the Jr Coordinator and Board Member. I can say from the office staff, to all the trainers, and all the volunteers are some of the best, and most devoted I've seen. It is amazing to see the effect a trained service dog has on the life of somebody who needs one. I'm proud to be a volunteer for them.
