Blue Star is an amazing place for both humans and horses. It is a draft horse rescue and sanctuary. There are also smaller breeds that have found their way to the farm. They find perfect homes for their residents, and focus on finding the right home--not just any. They educate communities about re-establishing our connection with horses. Blue Star is also a horse-powered farm, and the horses that are able to participate in work do so, and enjoy doing it. Fresh, organic vegetables are available for sale at the farm. It is open to the public on the weekends for farm tours, and to meet the herd of 30+!
