ANIMAL AID UNLIMITED
January 9, 2014

Animal Aid Unlimited, based in Seattle, WA, is a rescue center, hospital and sanctuary for ownerless street animals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. They take on the toughest cases - dogs, cows, donkeys, among other rescues - and rely on donations to ensure these animals regain their health. AAU is also working on the ground in India to change the perception of these animals in that country. It is difficult work and they bring hope to so many animals that have been abused, thrown away, or have fallen ill with no one to provide aid. We have donated a few times and find they are responsive and value our involvement. They also encourage volunteers and visitors to come and see their operation in Udaipur, which I am tempted to do as I find their work very compelling & lifesaving.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I think they are doing a great job in India and I have no changes to suggest. Erika makes me feel appreciated as a caring donor here in the U.S.

Sea Turtle Conservancy
November 13, 2012

When my youngest sister, Lisa, passed away unexpectedly at age 43, from complications of a serious congenital heart condition in May 2012, we wanted to honor her memory and her activism on behalf of animals. She had a passion for sea turtles and we chose as a family to get behind her favorite charity by establishing The Lisa Jo Randgaard Fund, an endowed fund, at Sea Turtle Conservancy. STC executive director David Godfrey has worked closely with our family and guided us every step of the way, making us feel valued and involved. It has been such an extraordinary comfort to our grieving family, and this is just one more way we have of letting David and the Sea Turtle Conservancy know how much we appreciate their wonderful work and great support. We know that Lisa is looking down very pleased by what we have done in her name. Having her enduring legacy tied to STC means the world to us.
