Review for Hdsa Research Initiatives Inc, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My brother Sean has been showing symptoms of Huntington's Disease for about 5 years now; my young niece Stephanie resides in a brain trauma center for HD residents. My father Bernie & my sister Dana passed from HD. It just goes on + on because Huntington's Disease has NO CURE or TREATMENTS. An HD victim develops the symptoms over a FEW years but lies in bed for MANY, MANY more years. The disease wreaks havoc on all family & friends of the person with HD. It is a genetic disease that gives each offspring of an HD victim a 50% chance of developing the disease. PLEASE donate & support the RESEARCH on this horrific disease!

Review for Angels In Need Inc, Davidson, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My visits to different orphanges that originated under Ceausescu, and remain under current government, have inspired me to research several nonprofit organizations now helping children in Romania. "Angels in Need" is one of the most effective homes for needy children who have no family. The caretakers have opened their hearts and given hands to these sweet children at Angels in Need. The devotion and determination of Simona Stewart, the director, is incredible. This home for children only needs financial donations....for it has everything emotionally.
