My husband and I have known Scott and Laura Brookins for about 25 years. We were witness to Scott's being called to his ministry. We were asked to be his son's Godparents, and then years later he officiated at my son's and daughter-in-law's wedding. He also officiated recently at Dick's parents' memorial services. Our personal friendship with Scott and his family has grown over the years; I have been in awe of the path his ministry has taken, too. I especially appreciate his work with children's ministry all over the world. "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet" is his true mission statement that he and Laura embrace daily.
