My dad's health had decline drastically 2 years ago and was told he needed a liver transplant after an emergency TIPS procedure. He no longer could work and our family's financial situation had become very difficult. Even with the difficulty, we wanted for him to have the best care and chances for a transplant. After much research, our family had decided to register him into the Mayo Clinic Phoenix transplant program, but being from Hawaii, the traveling expenses would be very difficult and impossible to do long term. We had found MMA and they have helped us with my dad's airline tickets as well as a companion's for the last 2 years. MMA has helped lift a huge financial burden for our family and we are truly grateful for their help. They make the process easy so that we can focus our energy on more important matters such as helping our dad get better. Thank you Mercy Medical Airlift!
