Erowid is a wonderful resource that certainly deserves attention for it's public health service regarding mind-altering substances. It's literature and research is unbiased, and can be used for both harm-reduction and informational purposes. I have used Erowid countless times to make sure that the medication I'm on mixes well with alcohol or another substance. Additionally, Erowid is also making great strides to educate users on research chemicals which have no prior data on effects, and which could be potentially harmful.
