I have been helping out for a while, and it is the employees and volunteers that keep me coming back. The work is really well-organized, we are well-equipped to do our tasks, and everybody works really well together. Of course it also feels great to be able to improve my neighborhood, as well as others. I have also learned a lot from staff about horticulture, and I enjoy connecting with nature in the midst of my urban life.
