This organization represents all of the state domestic violence coalitions and DV/sexual assault coalitions, and by extension all of the shelters, hotline, prevention and counseling programs, and much more in every state and territory. They make sure that impactful legislation passes Congress, that the funding goes where it needs to go, and that critical technical assistance (and the most cutting-edge understanding and research) is available to all of those groups. Right now I can't think of anything more important.
