We adopted an animal from these folks about five years ago, and then again last month. Wow! What a difference! This time, they treated us like important people, and like customers. And they knew the animals in their shelter individually, and helped us pick out one that was a good match for us by asking some very good questions about our lifestyle. And the facility at New York Avenue has gone from being a dirty pit to being clean. It even seems to be in better shape than six years ago.
