I started volunteering at WHS about a year ago and have to say that I've actually found a home and family to work with in supporting the efforts of saving animals. The team is wonderful to work with, making sure you have the knowledge and motivation to succeed. The fundraising efforts offer a broad stroke of activities that touch all interest. They work to impact the community with education, spay and neuter programs and adoption events. The best is the care they give the animals. They strive to make sure all have proper medical, stimulation and food. I enjoy the time I spend with the staff - be it at an event or at the shelter - the team rocks!
