Our stay was in May of 2012 between two major surgeries for our son Quentin. He has Neurofibratosis(NF1). He has a plexiform tumor on the right side of his head wrapped around all his facial nerves and muscles. His Wish was Disney World, but give kids the world was the icing on the cake. They think of everything and for an entire week we celebrated Quentin, his brother Brendan and our Family. The staff and volunteers are outstanding and inspirational. Our lives have forever been changed and we have plans to go back and volunteer ourselves. The kids loved it all..the carosel, the sleeping tree, pools, activities, character visits and ice cream for breakfast! We smiled the entire time and no one stared at his scars because each child had thier own scares and each family had a story. I will never forget seeing his star on the ceiling for the first time. To us GKTW...was the most magical place ever! P.S. We have ice cream for breakfast at least 2x a month!! Thank you with all my heart!!
