My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Indian Schools Alumni and Friends Insaf, West Orange, NJ, USA
I have been a member since 1974 and found INSAF to be very helpful for poor students in India and, also, in U.S.A. INSAF has no office, no paid employee; all members work without any pay and follow through the projets personally. Its opersting expenses are less than 1 % Any member can initiate a project and INSAF gives matching funds within limits of its resources.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Giving back to India, the country of my origin
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Vounteers are dedicated people and put in their heart and soul for any project that they undertake.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
it would give uplift the lives of many students who are talented but poor.
Ways to make it better...
I had given more attention to it and worked harder for its success
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
to reach out to more perons of Indian origin
