I used to think the mission of People for Care and Learning was so far on the other side of the world that it couldn't interest me, but when I witnessed up close at what they do, I not only was hooked on the mission, but got a clearer vision of the appropriateness of the name - people for CARE and LEARNING. Those are the driving forces behind the effectiveness of what PCL does. They care for those they encounter by building homes or providing fresh water, and they provide learning experiences through such activities as language education and business training. Their ministry is a shining example to all benevolent agencies.
